Danny Gorman


Artistic Director

Danny has worked as a director, choreographer, and theater arts educator throughout the United States and abroad for the past decade. He recently served as the Associate Director for the Tony Award-winning production of A Christmas Carol in San Francisco. Danny directed the world premiere of Transformation: Personal Stories of Change, Acceptance, and Evolution at Jazz at Lincoln Center starring Glenn Close, Christian Slater, and Wayne Brady, with original jazz music by Grammy Award-winner Ted Nash. He Assistant Directed the Broadway and West End revivals of Sunset Boulevard also starring Close, Man of La Mancha starring Kelsey Grammer, and Carousel starring Alfie Boe, all at the English National Opera, as well as Scotland, PA at the Roundabout Theatre Company and Sinatra: Voice for a Century at the New York Philharmonic. He served as an artistic consultant for Lincoln Center curating a series of events called Lincoln Center Originals which debuted original content inspired by the Lincoln Center campus.

Danny has worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York University, Arizona Broadway Theatre, the CRY HAVOC Company, United Solo, FringeNYC, NAMT, and Broadway For All. Ken Urso

Ken Urso is an international director, actor, producer and teaching artist. He served as the Director of Professional Development and on the MFA Directing faculty at the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School, home of Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio, where he produced a series that interviews such guests as Alec Baldwin, Bradley Cooper, Ellen Burstyn, and Lonny Price, among others. He has taught courses and workshops for The City University of New York, Pacific University, Gonzaga University, Pace University, Colby College and at the Kennedy Center.

In 2014, Ken directed the world premiere of the opera The House of Murgatroyd which opened at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Harrogate, England. Regional directing credits include tick, tick… BOOM!, Mamma Mia!, The Producers, Chicago, Always… Patsy Cline, among others. NYC directing credits include Worth House, Kidnapping Laura Linney, Red Light Winter and Fallen Angels.

Ken produced the award-winning play Gay Camp, which ran for years at the Duplex Theater in the heart of NYC's Greenwich Village, and also toured the nation. Dan Gutierrez

Dan Gutierrez is a performer and choreographer originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but called New York City home for 15 years. After graduating with his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, he moved to NYC and the very next day booked the Broadway National Tour of Chicago, the longest running American musical. He performed with the company for five years, working with some of Broadway's biggest celebrities such as John O’ Hurley, Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child, Brandy, Christie Brinkley, Tom Wopat, Sophia Vergara, Bebe Neuwirth, and more. He toured the world performing all over the U.S., Canada, Thailand, Tokyo and Dubai. He then made his Broadway debut with the production in 2017, eventually understudying the lead role prior to moving to the west coast.

Dan has been seen on TV as a guest performer on ABC's “The View” for the Barbara Walters return special featuring Mario Cantone, on NBC for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Goo Goo Dolls, and on CBS where he danced along Bebe Neuwirth to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Chicago. You may have also seen him on CBS's “The Price is Right” when he won the Showcase Showdown in 2011.

Regional credits include Mary Poppins, Starlight Express, Thoroughly Modern Millie, West Side Story, and more. He currently calls Sebastopol, California home and is excited to be pursuing his next adventure. @dannygcreative
